Fast growing startup seeks 2nd employee in eCommerce business selling auto and light industrial parts.
PAY:
$600 per week to start, $675 after 6 months, $750 per week after a year.
If we're both motivated to work more (that would be great!) more compensation will be provided. See hours note.
HOURS:
Monday-Thursday 7:45am - 5:00pm
Friday 6:15am - 5:00pm
This is about 45 hours each week. Holidays are paid time off, and you will get 2 extra hours PTO each pay period, accumulative. If you're willing to work more, that's great! I'd love to start earlier and/or work a little bit later once we get rolling.
Pay and hours negotiable if position isn't filled reasonably fast.
LOCATION:
Current work location is the basement of business owner's residence in Lee's Summit. There is a private entrance and facilities. It is a lean, efficient workspace. Additional storage space and product processing is at a nearby warehouse. The business will be purchasing a building for expansion in the year 2022 as commercial real estate prices continue to drop. Until then, this will only be a 2 person operation. Owner has been saving cash and stockpiling product in preparation for this major expansion.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and list products for sale on eBay by determining pricing, writing descriptions, and taking pictures
Pick and Package orders for carrier delivery
Load and Move product between Suppliers and Storage
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist owner in various business activities as needed, including: shipping supply management, inventory organization, product purchasing, unsellable product disposal, customer service, and more
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong computer skills
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds at a time even in tight spaces like a pickup truck
Strong desire to succeed and advance in your career
Positive, resilient attitude above all else
