RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a Lead Security Business Analyst in Maryland Heights, MO.
Summary:
This position is responsible for formulation processes and procedures in support of IT Security Operations to ensure secure, efficient, reliable, and repeatable processes for new system implementations or automation strategy to allow the teams to effectively manage day-to-day workflow tasks. This role will liaison with other teams inside and outside of the Corporate IT Security team to -connect-the-dots- and ensure all aspects of process development and training are considered. Works on the most complex projects while performing as a business enabler to integrate security as a daily practice. The candidate serves as a subject matter expert and mentor to other business systems analysts.
Major duties and responsibilities:
Analyze the most complex and challenging Security Operations problems to be solved with automated systems
Assess available technologies to create process development around Security Operations specifications
Provide deep subject matter expertise technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
Consult with management and users to determine the needs of the system
Design workflows and documented processes and procedures to meet Security Operations goals
Specify inputs and formatting outputs to meet users' needs
Oversee process implementation, coordinating training needs, in and observing user experience to validate efficient and effective performance
Improve internal processes, and implement measures to control risks within the business applications framework
Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business process or systems issues
Facilitates communication and gains commitment between business units to align solutions with business strategies
Perform other responsibilities as requested
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Cyber Security or equivalent experience
Expert knowledge of Security Operations Center processes, security applications and systems
Ability to translate technical terms to non-technical (business) colleagues and non-technical (business) terms to technical colleagues
Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partner
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
