It all begins with you.Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.The Capital Markets Risk Technology (CMRT) department provides world class business solutions to support Corporate and LOB Market Risk teams. CMRT works with its business partners in identification, measurement, aggregation and reporting of Market Risk across the firm. The department works closely with the lines of business to ensure that risks are being appropriately managed within the defined risk appetite for the firm. The Market Risk systems perform valuation, simulation, aggregation and reporting of risk metrics and models on all simple (bonds) and complex (structured products, derivatives) security products. Team members will work with advanced mathematical models, theoretical pricing, statistical and stochastic models, VaR (Value at Risk), PFE (Potential Future Exposure), IMM (Internal Model Methodology), and stress. The Market Risk systems are comprised of intraday and overnight batch processes that handle staging for all trading position data and market data required for risk modeling as well as making this data available to the various risk valuation systems. Quantitative models and reporting support trading activities as well as regulatory and business reporting requirements. One role is for a hands-on Business Analyst that will be responsible for the solutions developed in support of Corporate Market Risk Group (CMRG) Home Lending Risk within the Corporate Risk business area. The Business Analyst in this position will be expected to partner in recommending operational, tactical and strategic solutions.The Business Analyst will act as the voice of the business partner within CMRT.The role requires: Taking ownership of the processes and technology solutions within CMRT required to support CMRG; Understanding the complex environment that is required to support CMRG ; Enabling a culture of collaboration and accountability.The person will work with Technology, Quality Assurance (QA) and Support leads within CMRT to deliver the solutions necessary.This hands-on role will involve the following:Analysis & Rollout: The team member will act as a liaison between CMRT and TPC/CMRG by planning, conducting and directing the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated, analytical systems; The team member will ensure the effective rollout of new functionality to Market Risk Management and Oversight.Documentation & Project Management: The team member will partner with CMRG, and aligned Business Analyst colleagues, to produce required documentation, including requirement documents, test plans & release documents. The team member will coordinate to ensure the delivery timelines will be met.Troubleshooting: When problems are identified by the CMRT Support team or CMRG, the team member will use skills and knowledge to resolve issues.Testing: The team member will assist the CMRT development and QA teams to ensure effective testing.The work location is Saint Louis, MO. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to Saint Louis, MO with no relocation assistance.Required Qualifications:

3+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

2+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements

2+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience

Desired Qualifications:

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

3 + years of experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRD's)

1+ year of JIRA experience

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills

Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills

2+ years of relational database experience

Solid critical thinking skills

Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization

Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
