It all begins with you.Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.This Compliance Officer will be responsible for leading the design, enhancement, and/or build of global compliance risk frameworks, programs, and/or processes. This includes:Working with business, risk, and support stakeholders to:

Determine how strategic, organizational, and infrastructural changes impact the global compliance program;

Decide the future state based on those impacts and strategic direction; and

Coordinate global compliance program enhancements to reach the future state.

Coordinating and leading efforts to:

Build and enhance compliance risk oversight processes and activities;

Advise, support, and challenge business, support, and risk partner processes and controls;

Document regulatory expectations through system of record, policy, procedures, and training content;

Build, enhance, and execute processes related to event escalation, including reporting and governance forums; and

Build and enhance change management identification, assessment, and implementation processes.

In particular, this Compliance Officer will be engaging with internal and external reviewers (and coordinating the execution of) the remediation of their findings related to regional compliance coverage.

Required Qualifications:7+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 7+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management
