Title: Data Engineer (Azure) Location: St.Louis, MO Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform data science activities as well as possess data engineering skills that will enable the team to rapidly deliver analytics solutions to the business.
The primary objective of this position will be to engage with project teams in a variety of different roles. Must be an expert in leveraging advanced analytics techniques and tools (i.e. Python) and have the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to think critically, have a problem-solving mindset, and be able to identify opportunities that will deliver value for the business and also for the improvement of their own team.
Most importantly, this candidate must be a fast learner and be willing to share with others in order to help the team grow and improve.
This team leverages the Microsoft Azure cloud as the platform to deliver fast, accurate insight delivery to the product owners and product users.
As a member of this team, you will work in conjunction with other data engineers, platform engineers, solution developers, and others to execute and deliver working solutions to the end-users.

Proficient with Python
Proficient with the use of Pandas DataFrames to transform and analyze datasets
Experience with REST API requests
Experience with JSON objects
The following is a list of adjacent skills and technologies that would be beneficial for consideration:
Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps principles for software development and ownership.
Familiar with Python Machine Learning packages (e.g. scikit-learn)
Experience with query languages such as SQL, MDX, and DAX
Familiar with Metadata Management Systems (Data Catalogs) used to catalog and share enterprise data.
