Description
Robert Half is seeking candidates with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format for their Desktop Support Technician role. If you are an articulate problem solver who loves to work in a challenging and positive environment, this may be the Desktop Support Technician role for you. Located in the Saint Louis, Missouri, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature.
Responsibilities
- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions
- Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Requirements
- Desktop support or related experience
- PC skills experience
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
