Sr. IT Audit & Compliance Specialist Responsibilities
Analyzes and stays up to date on IT audit controls for new controls or changed controls that impact Information Technology Audits
Assists in developing department operating standards/controls/procedures to meet audit requirements
Works with internal and external auditors to coordinate audit activities
Helps Field requests from auditors and coordinates with other resources for a response
Reviews all draft audit findings, recommendations, and draft reports
Tracks and follows–up to ensure proper implementation of audit recommendations
Maintain awareness and follow trends in new laws and regulations associated with Data Privacy and Protection
Assist in the remediation of compliance findings and gaps
Perform periodic testing to maintain and validate adherence to audit and standards specifications
Develops control mapping documents to reflect the exact documentation that will be provided to meet each audit control and who provides this documentation to facilitate efficient, consistent, and highly effective audit outcomes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
Minimum of one year of experience in any of the following areas: Internal or External IT Audit, Risk Assessment, Compliance or similar role with experience in responding to IT SOX, SOC, PCI DSS, ISO
Understanding of corporate governance, risk, controls, and regulatory issues
Experience in IT with general technical understanding of servers, databases, routers, firewalls, networks
Experience developing Policies and Procedures to support end-to-end processes
Project Management Certification Preferred
CISA, CISM, CRISC, PMP, ISA or other relevant independent certification preferred
