ROLE
The Installation Technician with Window World transforms a customerâs home by removing old windows, doors or siding and installing the new windows, doors or siding, while ensuring that the high-quality standards of Window World are maintained.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a safe and professional worksite.
Present a professional appearance and demeanor.
Be punctual.
Deliver product to job site.
Remove existing exterior products.
Install new products, following all manufacture recommended procedures.
Assist in the unloading of deliveries.
Clean the job site.
Follow a standard operating procedure.
Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork.
Assist with consumer satisfaction surveys.
KNOWLEDGE
Basic carpentry knowledge associated with the removal and installation of vinyl replacement windows, entry doors and vinyl siding.
Ability to read and follow work orders.
General knowledge of related safety standards and procedures.
SKILLS
General carpentry skills, including the use of a hammer, electric drill, screwdriver and tape measure.
Working on a ladder.
Detail oriented.
Ability to create solutions to unique installation challenges.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
RELATED EXPERIENCE
Prior carpentry experience is required.
