Unit DescriptionSodexo is seeking a dynamic Food and Nutrition Area General Manager to oversee food operations at 2 locations for PeaceHealth ( University District and Riverbend ). PeaceHealth is a not-for-profit health care system with medical centers, critical access hospitals and medical clinics located in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. Find out more atRELOCATION ASSISTANCE WILL BE OFFERED WITH THIS ROLEThis position will manage client relationship and contract guarantees for patient dining and multiple retail locations and lead the Day-to-Day operations of the Food Services departments. You will foster and develop a strong management team consisting of an Executive Chef, Chef Manager, Retail Manager, Patient Services Supervisor and Clinical Nutrition Manager. Responsible for $8M in managed volume over 2 Fee accounts.We are seeking candidates who:

have familiarity with Sodexo hospital programs or similar external programs (Patient Experience, Healthtouch, Retail Ranger).

Qualifications for this position include:
Proven ability to develop teams
Proven ability to motivate and inspire staff and participate on a management team
Computer literacy to achieve and maintain competence in web-driven Sodexo programs
Full HACCP knowledge, and Sodexo ServSafe certification within 3 months of hire
Strong financial acumen (budget process); P/L or Fee based
Prior food service management and client retention experience in a hospital environment is required
Managing in a strong union environment is a plus but not a requirement.

Single point of contact and/or client liaison in support of a multi-site.Key Duties
Monitors operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account of the system to plan projects, implement new processes, client interactions, and new technology to ensure sufficient resources.
Develops business plan and budget w/each account GM that supports the System and District goals – Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and Sodexo.
Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison promoting a solid business partnership - assists in contract negotiations for the system.
Maintains Quality & Company Standards – reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sodexo / System Client(s) policies and procedures.
Responsible for system succession planning/employee development/diversity initiatives/training/constructive counseling. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.
Provides strategic leadership to the respective units within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention
