Ensure that all phases of telecom support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved
Prioritize, diagnose, and troubleshoot reported problems with onsite and remote telecom equipment
Install, configure, upgrade and support complex or net-new telecom equipment including but not limited to analog phones, IP phones, fax machines, mobile phones, pagers and PA systems
Perform complex telecom moves, adds, and changes (MAC work) for end users
Perform complex hardware and software maintenance, such as upgrades, moving systems, and documenting changes and managing mobile devices
Manage maintenance cross connect wiring
Make software changes to digital switches and adjustments on telephony equipment and systems for maximum operating efficiency
Manage equipment PAR levels and ordering and receiving of new equipment
Additional Skills
Experienced and skilled in managing modern Avaya Aura Enterprise telephony systems.
Deep understanding of Voice-over-IP technology and a deep understanding of IP Switching and Routing.
Ability to program phones (stations) and users in the Avaya system and understands the configurations; ability to build and program Contact Centers and Agents; ability to program ACD menus; ability to troubleshoot various call quality issues.
