We are starting a side business with our fully insured commercial policy classic car; we are a full-time rebuilder of classic car parts. We need a driver and we need to obtain bookings. You will play a key role in getting this startup established. If successful, we will plan to buy more classics and grow the business.
Primary responsibilities, in order of importance:
1) Safe chauffeuring of wedding couples and a photographer
2) Ensuring customers have a great experience
3) Maintaining presentation condition of the car and minimizing wear & tear on it
Requirements:
Ability to treat customers as royalty. Doors opened & closed, etc. Dressed sharp, playing the part.
When not focused on customers, have a marketing mindset, get photos, quotes, etc. for social media/web.
Must obtain a MO Class E Chauffeur license. Must be 21 or older and have a flawless driving record. Good with directions and have an understanding of major roads in Springfield and the surrounding vicinity.
Physical Activities besides driving:
Maintaining overall vehicle cosmetic condition, including but not limited to:
-Picking vehicle up from storage and wiping it down before events
-Attach & remove decorations as required
-Vacuum after events and return to storage
-Fuel up, etc. as required
-Maintain customer supplies: (cold water, champagne glasses & sparkling grape juice, charging cords,)
Hours: Primarily weekends/evenings based on events.
$10 /hour plus a percentage and tips from events (expected event total hourly pay between $15 - $18 /hour.) Note - there will be hours associated with marketing the business - to help establish bookings - these hours not be supplemented with event extra pay.
