Machine Operator & General Shop Labor
Job Summary
Various responsibilities related to the manufacture and fabrication of plastic components. Setup and operation of thermoforming machinery and multi-axis CNC routers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. The ability to inspect parts to meet quality standards is expected.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required
Use of hand and table routers (electric and pneumatic)
Use of panel saw, band saw, table saw, skill saw, and chop saw
Ability to read prints and follow work instructions
Attention to detail and the ability to communicate variances to supervisor
Experience in a manufacturing environment that is not climate-controlled
Ability to turn, crouch, kneel, and lift 50lbs for the duration of an 8-hour shift
Experience with quality measuring devices (scales, calipers, micrometers, etc)
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent
General mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Positive and safety conscious attitude
Preferred
Thermoforming/vacuum forming experience
CNC routing experience
Tooling/pattern making/body work experience
Machinist experience
Plastic welding experience
Mathematical and computer programming background
Eager to learn and grow with the company
