Sign Shop Assistant
Hours: Part-time, Monday - Friday
Job Description: Under the direct supervision of the sign shop manager, this position assists in printing small and large format signs, banners and decals. This position is responsible for mounting signs to coroplast, laminating and general finishing as well. Assistants manipulate provided templates to fit the sizes and dimensions that are requested, all while adhering to our supplier standards.
Basic Duties:
Keep shop clean and presentable
Deliver signs and materials to client locations
Verify raw material inventory as required
Complete work-orders
Assist in the production of signs as needed
Prepare vinyl graphics for application as needed
Prepare sign surfaces for application of text/graphics (cut to size and clean) as needed
Assist sales reps and customers both in person and on the telephone as required

Extensive Knowledge on File Types
Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment and random drug & alcohol screenings, physical and have a clean Motor Vehicle record
High School or equivalent education minimum.
Experience:
Sign Shop Experience preferred.
Knowledge of CorelDraw Graphic Software for large format printing and vinyl cutting is a plus.
