Director is responsible for all aspects of multi-store operations and profitability. Execute and evaluate to ensure maximum sales, product turn-over, inventory purchasing and control, merchandising and efficient utilization of labor, hiring and training.
Ability to work all department to insure and maintain appropriate functioning of entire store operations.
Prepares weekly sales/labor projections, executes to plan and consistently achieves budget payroll percentage.
Hires, develops, evaluates and supervises store leads.
Manages store financials and demonstrates full comprehension of the Profit and Loss Statement.
Monitors cash management for the stores including approving all store expenses before they occur.
Oversees the merchandising , loss prevention and store appearance for all locations.
Sustains a high level of product knowledge and product trends.
Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
Advanced attention to detail and organizational planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Office, Word and Excel.
Ability to adapt to the ever changing retail environment while working in a cross-functional team.
Demonstrates ability to improve staff performance through motivation, training and setting clear expectations.
