JOB SUMMARY
A Fireplace Installer is responsible for the professional installation of new fireplaces safely into new homes, home remodels, and home additions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install fireplaces according to FHH installation standards.
Maintain working knowledge of all fireplaces, stove, and related home products along with any manufacturer’s changes
Loads and unloads materials and tools.
Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Experience in fireplace insulation preferred.
State issued Class E license in good standing required.
Framing experience a plus.
Electrical experience (running pipe) a plus.
Roofing experience a plus.
HVAC experience a plus.
Masonry experience a plus.
Basic construction experience a must.
SKILLS / COMPETENCIES
Proficient mechanical skills using a variety of hand and power tools.
Detail-oriented.
Sense of urgency.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Lift, carry or push up to 100 lbs.
Bend, stoop, or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis.
Reach overhead to grasp and secure materials into place.
Climb ladders.
Repetitive motions using wrists, hands, and fingers.
Work outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold.
Hand-eye coordination to operate powered and non-powered equipment.
