I'm looking for a mechanic to assist in the repair and maintenance of a fleet of underground and aerial construction equipment, trucks and trailers both in the equipment yard (Northwest Springfield) and on job sites in Springfield, MO and the surrounding region.
Must be reliable, trustworthy, have own transportation, basic tools and able to work independently with phone instruction (There will be times when we have to be on multiple job sites at the same time, know when you are in over your head). Ability to accurately document and record time at each location a must!
Experience with construction equipment not necessary. Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is required. Proficiency with Diesel Diagnostics a HUGE plus!
Willing to train the right person as long as drive, initiative and responsibility is demonstrated.
