We're seeking a fun and energetic individual who is looking for flexible or part-time B2B professional work.

We help businesses succeed by solving their logistics challenges. Direct work times fall between 9am to 4pm or some flexible combination that allows you to continue your professional career yet still be available for those highest priorities in life. There are occasional optional industry functions outside the above hours. Successful team members very rarely log more than 25hrs per week. We're eager to customize the right plan for the right candidate.

We are a locally-owned company and a member of a global transportation network offering a broad range of logistics services including international air and ocean transportation, both importing and exporting. The international logistics industry is fast and ever-changing, and helping our customers succeed means winning in the global economy. Our clients completely rely upon us as their partners to receive raw materials to create their products, to deliver those finished products to their valued customers all over the world, and all the steps in between.

We're adding to our team to support our growing business in the metro area. Our Market Development Specialists are responsible for a designated territory, defined by ZIP code. We will provide training, tools, and support to successfully manage your customer relationships. You will be responsible for connecting with qualified potential clients (70%) as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers (30%). In conjunction with the leadership team, you will also be responsible for proposing customized logistic solutions, asking for the relationship, and the implementation and retention of business.

• Searching for interesting and professional work, but not 'traditional' 8 to 5, Monday through Friday.

How do we reward our team?

• Compensation is based on availability (hours per day or week) and sales experience, which is very helpful but not mandatory.

Pay components:

 Guaranteed pay, adjusted upward with goal-achievement

 Monthly performance bonus based on the financial goals

Other benefits available upon reaching performance milestones:

• Car or travel allowance.

• Gas, meals, and other sales expenses paid.

• Cell phone reimbursement.

• Other benefits are negotiable based on W2 or 1099 employment status.

IMPORTANT: This is a customer-facing relationship role and success is measured by activity and financial results. We need help adding new clients and managing current ones.
