Role: Manual Tester-Telecom Domain Location: St. Louis, MO Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, and test execution. Works on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments. Works on multiple programs/systems as a project team member. Considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs
Documents all problems and assists in their resolution

Understanding of Telecom Order Provisioning and Activation Workflows is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong organizational skills
Good understanding of quality assurance process, tools, and methodologies
Understanding of database schemas and querying tools

Ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in using HP Test Suite or other Testing Tools
