Salesforce QA Analyst

As a QA for Salesforce you will work with project managers, business stakeholders, BSAs, developers and offshore teams leading SALESFORCE QA projects. If you are Detail oriented and committed to a high level of accuracy this is a GREAT role for you!

Hybrid - required be in-office 3 days per week with up to 2 remote days

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have experience in working with Salesforce and in Quality Assurance (QA) Testing
  • Background in Telecom and work with Data/Voice Products
  • Experience in Telecom order management/ orchestration products, involving:
    • Performing Modify, Add, Change, Disconnect (MACD) on orders
    • Performing Hold, Jeopardy on orders
  • Ability to run automated tests and troubleshoot failure logs using Selenium/Test NG framework
  • Previous experience with HP ALM, JIRA, SOAP UI, and be able to read XML requests and responses is required.
  • Working knowledge of telecom order lifecycle including provisioning and service activation
  • Preference for Salesforce Sales cloud knowledge - Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, Product Customization
  • Troubleshoot various issues for offshore teams to remove obstacles for test execution
  • Working experience with SOAP UI, POSTMAN tool to execute and test WSDL services
  • Ability to read requirements and build test cases and/or test plans
  • Ability to execute using HP ALM and record and triage defect within ALM and JIRA
  • Exposure to test automation tools using Selenium
  • Previous experience in CSG Billing System is preferred
A quality assurance analyst creates tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched. They identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them. They also must to pay very close attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement.
  • A normal work day for a quality assurance engineer includes developing new tests to run, running the tests, and documenting the results:
    • If any defects are noted the quality assurance analysts will need to collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program.
    • Once the defect has been patched, they will need to run the test again to make sure there are no new bugs and to make sure the defect found has been corrected.
