Our patented, Emmy® award-winning FASP™ protocol is at the core of next-generation transport technologies that move the world’s data at maximum speed regardless of file size, transfer distance and network conditions. Originally conceptualized and developed by the legacy Aspera organization, this offering fully utilizes existing infrastructures to deliver the fastest, most predictable file-transfer experience. Integrated with IBM's enterprise capabilities, the result is unprecedented control over bandwidth, complete security and uncompromising reliability.What You'll Do
Build and maintain infrastructure code for Aspera Transfer Services (ATS), a highly available clustered transfer solution. Code is in Terraform, Ansible, and BASH
Support day-to-day operations of ATS on Google, AWS, IBM Cloud, and Azure
Improve monitoring and visibility for ATS, using Elasticsearch, DataDog, and in-house tooling.
Extend operational services around ATS, integrating with IBM IAM, AccessHub, BlueMix and other IBM services
Work with IBM SOS teams to identify, remediate and validate security issues across ATS
Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ATS
Troubleshoot and reproduce customer issues with ATS availability, transfers and usage
Contribute to architecture and design to improve resilience, performance, and reliability of Aspera Transfer Services

5+ years in EITHER a DevOps OR Systems Administrator role
Experience with running and deploying cloud services on Amazon or other IaaS provider
Background in networking and systems, including troubleshooting production issues
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or other tools
BASH scripting and scripting (python, ruby, etc.)
Experience with Configuration Management using Ansible, Chef, Salt or Puppet
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Build and release management for native applications or services
CI/CD experience with Jenkins or GitlabCI
Docker and Kubernetes experience a plus
