AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

  • Provide Full-Stack Design and Development of Desktop Applications in a windows .NET environment

  • Interact with stakeholders and customers to gather requirements, provide technical support and perform new feature demos

  • Produce requirements and design documents

  • Assist technical writers in the creation of user documentation

  • Work with global team members to support validation activities

  • Work in Product Development/Technology Department

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • B.S. degree in engineering/related technical discipline or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in C#/.NET/WPF framework development

  • Outstanding C#/.NET/WPF development skills and experience

  • Experience developing workstation applications in a windows environment is required

  • Experience with full-lifecycle projects, formal software development methodologies

  • Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms

  • Experience using design patterns to solve and simplify complex software problems

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server or equivalent source code control system

  • Ability to work and function within a diverse environment comprised of global teams

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Must be willing to take full ownership of an application and its components

  • Must be organized

  • Must be results oriented

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Less than 5% travel expected


PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Knowledge of the MVVM design pattern

  • Experience with Power Shell scripting

  • Experience with MSBuild

  • Experience with Installshield

  • Experience with C/C

  • Experience with communication protocols including TCP, UDP
