Tompkins by the Rack House is a scratch kitchen that utilizes a lot of local produce. We are looking for a part time line cook with flexible availability. We're looking for someone who can average around 3 days a week, but can be flexible to cover vacation time for other staff, or as an extra set of hands for our larger events.
Knife skills, general knowledge of a kitchen and cooking, as well as flexibility will determine rate of pay.
Executive Chef Philip Day's menu changes seasonally, so you'd be learning to prepare different dishes throughout the year. Chef provides a lot of education for those looking to improve their skills
We also have another location within 20 minutes, The Rack House Kitchen Wine Whiskey where additional shifts could be available.
