Salume Beddu seeking a part-time Salami Production Assistant
in their USDA inspected facility
We are a small artisan company, dedicated to crafting Italian and European-Style cured meats. We pride ourselves on using only the highest quality heritage Midwestern pork and the freshest spices we can procure. Each salame is crafted with care and slow cured to produce traditional tastes with a New World twist.
Absolute Musts:
Basic knife skills
Organized, efficient, detail oriented
A positive attitude and collaborative mindset
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to lift 25 pound equipment pieces to a height of 3 feet
Reliable transportation
Helpful skills (but not required):
Safe food handling skills
HACCP knowledge
Basic sausage making and/or meat fabrication experience
Position affords upward mobility and growth with the company; including potential full-time salaried status and paid time off for the right candidate. Starting pay $10/hour, shift Mon-Thurs 9:30-2:30, no work on federal holidays.
