In business for 30+ years. We are looking for a crew leader, or a crew member, to work in the Clayton area. We are seeking someone with a strong work ethic, energetic and self motivated. Must be able to perform duties in a timely matter, and to the customer’s satisfaction. We are looking to establish a long term relationship with the right person. Job Description:

• We are looking for someone to do bed maintenance throughout the season. There may be times needed to help with mowing.• Avg. 40 hour per week dependent on weather.• Must be able to work from 7am to 5pm. Mon to Fri. Sat if needed due to rain. (if a couple of days of rain is forecasted for a week, we try for (4) 10 hour days)• Manage a crew of 1 to 2 crew members. (Crew Leader)• Ensure accurate record keeping. (Crew Leader)• Maintain customers yard including: Trimming shrubs, weeding beds, edging, mulching, debris clean up. (Crew Leader)• Knowledge of plants and weeds. (Crew Leader)• Knowledge of tools, materials, and practices of ground maintenance. (Crew Leader)• Bend and walk for long periods.• We do not provide snow removal.• Pay is based on experience. Minimum start pay for a crew leader with some experience (1 year) is $16. But will increase based on knowledge and work performance.• Minimum start pay for crew member is $14. But will increase with experience

Qualifications:

• 2+ year experience in doing maintenance of beds. (Crew Leader)• Able to direct crew members to work efficiently at job site. (Crew Leader)• Plant and weed identification. (Crew Leader)• Knowing when and how to trim shrubs. (Crew Leader)• Strong work ethic, energy, determination and drive.• Ability to multi task, work fast pace, meet deadlines.• Must be honest, have a positive attitude, be punctual, have a commitment to the job.• Must have transportation to Brentwood.• Must be able to drive a trailer. (Crew Leader)• Drivers license with clean record.
