Company is hiring a full time Maintenance Technician for the South St. Louis City area. An ideal candidate will be a specialist in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing and able to work independently on projects in a timely and efficient manner. Main work schedule is Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 with evening/weekend hours when necessary. Job Responsibilities
⢠2 yearsâ experience in commercial or residential maintenance with plumbing and HVAC background.
⢠Knowledge and experience with roof and gutter maintenance
⢠Knowledge and experience with appliances and water heaters
⢠Knowledge and experience with general carpentry, sheetrock and painting
⢠Knowledge and experience with general maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
⢠Have the ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and come up with a creative solution to solving problems
⢠Complete service requests as assigned by Property Manager within 24 hours
⢠Respond and handle daily multiple combinations of service requests for market readies, preventative maintenance, capital projects and other duties assigned
This position travels to various properties within the St. Louis area to perform a variety of maintenance services. The ideal candidate must be people oriented with technical aptitude and strong organizational skills. Must be capable of working with little direct supervision.
Additional requirements:
⢠Valid driverâs license with good driving record
⢠Background check and drug test are required
⢠Own set of basic hand tools
⢠Must be able to move up to 75 lbs.
⢠Ability to read, write and communicate English for safety and productivity reasons
⢠Must be willing and able to work outdoors in temperatures above 90 degrees and below 32 degrees
⢠Frequent need to be on feet, climb stairs and to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, an ability to climb ladders and navigate difficult terrain and elevation changes while maintaining balance.
