Responsibilities and Duties
Filing and retrieving patent applications from U.S. Patent and Trademark Office PAIR
Filing patent and trademark applications
Reporting letters to clients
Responding to international and foreign associate letters
Scheduling appointments
File Patent and/or Trademark Assignment Documents through USPTO Recordation System.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
2 years paralegal or legal administrative experience in patents (trademarks is a plus)
Ability to observe strict confidentiality in all aspects of services provided.
Proven ability to show and demonstrate on a consistent basis, initiative, professionalism, drive for results, and knowledge within the organization.
Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, and World.
Detail oriented with excellent organization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ideal for retiree paralegal with patent and trademark experience.
