SPRING GRINDER SET-UP OPERATOR
Primary Responsibilities:
Set Up and monitor machines during production to ensure optimum productivity and adherence to production schedule. Ensure machines are producing quality products by performing in-process inspection on machine output. Execute regular and preventative maintenance procedures including cleaning machines and work area daily.
Training :
Our usual training time is 30-90 days, we have many repeat orders and similar orders. You will be assigned a trainer. These machines are not too common, but mechanical ablity and basic math, you will be able to set up and operate these machines fairly quickly.
Requirements:
1) Mechanical ability previous experience with printing presses, screw machines, farm equipment, or machine tools will qualify
2) Ability to read a technical drawing
3) Ability to use a micrometer, caliper and tape measure
4) Basic math skills and use of calculator. All prints and work orders are in decimals, fractions are rarely used.
5) Good time management skills
6) Must be dependable ,communicate and work well with others
7) Able to stand for long periods of time
8) Set-up and operate large and small machinery
9) Able to lift up to 30 pounds
10) Flexible and adaptable in regards to work responsibilities
11) Background and drug screenings will be processed
