We are an 105 year old hardware store in the Central West End of St. Louis - New Market Hardware Co. We are looking for an individual to wait on our hardware clientele, which consists of both retail and commercial customers. The candidate will have some retail experience, or experience in dealing with the public. Hardware store experience, or an aptitude in hardware related knowledge is a plus. The position offers somewhat flexible hours, but all hours will be between 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Mon - Friday, and 8:30 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday. The job requires some lifting of building materials, and periodic use of steps to access our upstairs and basement areas. This job may be ideal for a retired person, or person just starting out in their work career and looking to gain valuable experience.
