We are looking for a Full-time sales associate for 10 hour Overnight shift four to five days per week.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome customers to the store.
Waiting on customers and operating computerized cash register.
Ring out merchandise, and ensure payment is made, via credit, debit, EBT or cash.
Give correct change as needed and bag merchandise for customers.
Verify age before selling alcohol /tobacco products
Stock shelves and cooler.
* Clean and maintain fountain, coffee and food area.
Suggestive selling of merchandise and assisting customers to locate merchandise.
Accurate and effective completion of shift paper work.
Clean rest rooms, deli equipment, dust shelves, dust merchandise as needed, clean windows and doors, empty trash cans, sweep and mop as needed.
Use of fire extinguisher and other safety equipment.
Deter and detect shoplifters.
Check in vendors and ensure merchandise is delivered complete.
Listening and handling customer complaints.
Clean rest room and fill log
Advise store manager and management of any situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance.
Answer and screen telephone calls properly.
Policing the store.
Sweep lot, shovel snow, clean gas pumps; fill water/cleaning solution buckets on islands.
Thank every customer after ringing them out and tell them you look forward to seeing them again.
. * Must have very flexible work schedule which includes days, nights, weekends and Holidays. Our operational hours are 24/7
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, climb ladders and lift and or move objects with weights up to 50 lbs.
