We work in a challenging industry, but with strong financial rewards plus work/life balance. Products include brake cleaner, hand soap, paper towels, brooms, ice melt, gloves, safety glasses, degreasers, etc. to car dealerships, body shops, manufacturer facilities, landscaping companies car washes, food plants, etc.
My customers include funeral homes, VA medical centers, high schools, churches, prisons, General Services Administration, and property management companies.
Many reps from competitors like Zep and Cintas have joined us over the years and never leave. Reps in their 70s and 80s are still with us.
No assigned territory! I have customers in TX, CA, IL, IA, WI,.MN, MI, NY and OH.
You can sell from stock and drop ship from vendors. Freedom to set prices is key as you establish relationships with your customers.
Business has been booming during Covid-19 with disposable nitrile gloves, disinfecting wipes, PPE, and hand sanitizer.

Our full-time Reps employed here 2+ years have an average income of $93,321. Top rep made $400,000 in commissions and overrides last year.
1st Ayd Corporation is a growing, financially solid manufacturer/distributor of janitorial, industrial, and maintenance supplies, established in 1974.

Goal: To be the best in the Midwest
You'll be selling over 100,000 high repeat items including cleaning chemicals, cleaning tools and equipment, maintenance supplies, paper products, shipping supplies, lighting, gloves, wipers, rags, industrial safety products, floor mats, drill bits, fasteners, tools, etc. You'll also have pricing authority and some of the lowest costs in the Midwest. No paperwork, no reports to fill out, no travel, no evenings, thorough training, and minimal supervision that will make you feel like you own your own business. 34 of our 90+ person sales force has worked here 10+ years. We're open 8am am to 6pm. Over 93% of stocking items are shipped the same day. Normal commissions and other incentives total $43,000 to $88,000 for a new recruit who makes our full quotas his/her first 12 months. We can verify this for you.
The ideal candidate:
1) Outside cold call/sales experience
2) Self-motivation, interpersonal skills, 2+ yrs college credentials.
3) Contractual commitment to work full-time (absolutely no sidelines or concurrent jobs without written permission from 1st Ayd Corporation)
The successful canditate can achieve:
1) 1st year income up to the high 80's
2) 2nd year income up to low $100,000
3) Company Sponsored 401k Plan
4) Thorough classroom and field training
5) Option to recruit and and train others
