We are currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician to support our St. Louis plant. The main duties of the Maintenance Electrician is to conduct machine set-up, troubleshoot, repairs and complete preventive maintenance service. Essential Responsibilities: Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.Must have a strong electrical background in:
Programmable logical controlsDC motors and drivesAC motorsElectro pneumaticsPerforms mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility.Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (ie: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining company code of ethics.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Associate?s Degree or minimum of two years? experience in printing, manufacturing, industrial or commercial maintenance as a mechanic is preferred.Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
