ITAC is looking for a Contract Sr. UX Designer for a great organization in the St. Louis, Missouri area!

This position will be responsible for establishing a UX Practice, supporting the implementation of digital experiences and prototypes; the Sr. UX Designer will develop journey maps, mockups, wireframes, and lead Design Thinking workshops and user research to guide personalized experiences for our customers and employees.

What you'll be doing (duties of this position):

• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating journey maps and conducting Design Thinking workshops
• Expertise in the definition of personas and demonstrated experience implementing UX design across multiple experiences
• Proficient with prototyping, wireframes, and visual design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of UX research methods, including surveys, focus groups, and A/B testing
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Experience creating storyboards to support prototyping and development teams
• Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies
• Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with customers and clients
• Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
• Experience in creating clear, concise, and actionable design documentation
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, Angular, and/or JavaScript
• The ability to balance UX concerns with business concerns
• The ability to self-direct work and meet deadlines
• Communication skills, and proficiency in working as part of a team
• Visual design skills, including a proven understanding of design fundamentals

What you'll need to be considered (requirements):

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or other relevant background required
• Formal training on User Experience disciplines, journey mapping, and/or Design Thinking preferred
