Billings Store Office Manager
Boy Scouts of America is looking for a self-motivated TEAM player to lead and guide our local store. Computer experience in Excel, Word and Outlook are essential and knowledge of the Boy Scouts of America program would be extremely helpful but not required.
Job Purpose: To manage inventory, processes and store associates within the Boy Scouts of America program.
Job Summary: Supervises the daily operation of a retail store including assisting in hiring, discipline, and training of sales associates. Follows established procedures, schedules employees, maintains inventories, conducts physical inventories, maintains store appearance, and completes day to day paperwork. Responsible for managing Financial expenditures within the store budget.
Essential Functions:
Schedules, trains, and supervises store associates with an emphasis on customer service internally and externally (on the phone, emails and in person.)
Maintains the inventory and organization of the store.
Creates and receives orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system using current policies and procedures.
Safeguards cash and inventory using current policies and procedures.
Completes all prescribed paperwork and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Open and close the store using current policies and procedures.
Assist store associates on the store floor as needed.
Setup and manage a mobile store for local events that have been approved by your supervisor.
Assist in state-wide Scouting events as directed by your supervisor. (This will require some travel.)
Operate the store within budgeted guidelines to meet profit goals and expenses.
Communicate with Supervisor and other Montana Store managers within the state.
