Do you love all things about plants and gardening? Love to talk about plants all day long? Canyon Creek Nursery is currently hiring an experienced gardener as a nursery sales assistant for seasonal work. This sales associate will work directly with customers to best advise on appropriate plants for their landscape and garden needs.
Hours: Varied, part-time (20 hours), seasonal with some weekend days required.
Salary: Starts at $12/hour.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Extensive knowledge and experience with plants and gardening.
Master gardener certification helpful, but not required.
Willingness to learn the till and ability to ring up purchases.
Some light to medium lifting, pricing and organizing of stock (plants and supplies).
Skills and Experience:
Experience working with plants required.
Education in horticulture preferred.
Retail sales experience helpful.
Ability to appropriately advise and inform customers of appropriate plants and trees for their projects.
