Retail Sales Associate
Zest Billings seeks Retail Sales Associates who love cooking, talking about cooking, and inspiring others to cook. Sales Associates contribute to the success of Zest by assisting customers with product information, location, pricing, and availability as well as processing returns and sales transactions.Work Hour and Benefits
$12-14 per hour DOE. This position is 24-32 hours per week, including both weekdays and weekends with some evenings for special events.Retail Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:
Provides an exceptional customer experience according to customer service standards. Proactively seeks out customers in order to determine needs and sell items
Stays informed by maintaining product knowledge, accesses available training and seeks out additional resources when necessary
Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
Consistently follows all Zest Billings LLC policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner
Processes a variety of transactions accurately and efficiently via the Point of Sales System (POS) including, but not limited to, sales, returns, online order fulfillment, price checks etc
Ensures pricing integrity, stock and replenishes the sales floor using FIF0 and according to visual standards
Records time worked, accurately and according to Zest Billings policy
Alerts management of potential security and safety issues
Ensures the safety of customers, employees, and company assets. Notifies Manager on Duty of any and all safety risks

Ability to communicate verbally and work cooperatively with employees and customers
Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 3 hours at a time
Ability to move about the workplace selling to customers and retrieving merchandise from storage and/or sales floor
Ability to grab, reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel and crouch in order to demonstrate, retrieve and/or replenish merchandise
Ability to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends as business dictates
Ability to ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and/or move merchandise
Ability to operate a computer, POS system, keyboards, merchandise scanners and mouse in order to accomplish work.
Regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
Ability to lift and/or move merchandise weighing up to 35 lbsRelevant Work Experience
1-2 years retail sales experience (preferred)
1-2 years exceptional customer service experience in a retail setting
