Montana Ironworks is a metal fabrication company looking for an entry-level fabricator and welder.
The ideal candidate will be a positive team player who can take direction and who will request clarification whenever needed. Reliability, a focus on safety and attention to detail will set the ideal candidate apart. Experience with metal fabrication and/or welding is preferred but not required.
We will train the right individual who possesses a desire and willingness to learn the following: how to read blueprints; how to perform various welding processes, how to operate shop machines including a press brake, shear, drill press and ironworker.
Work will be performed in our shop in Laurel, MT. Travel is not required for this position but is an option for those who desire to do so. Our projects are typically concentrated within a 3-4 hoursâ drive from Billings, MT. Overnight stays are regularly part of work travel.
This is a full-time position working (4) ten hour shifts Tuesday through Friday. Overtime, including both longer days or weeks, may be required as our project schedule dictates.
Pay is dependent upon experience. Drug testing, background check and a valid driverâs license are required for employment.
