Montana Ironworks is a metal fabrication company looking for an experienced fabricator and welder to add to our team.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in MIG welding on various metals, reading blueprints and proficient in layout. Experience with SMAW and/or GTAW welding are a bonus. We will teach these welding processes to the successful candidate if they have a desire to learn. Knowledge of operating press brake, shear, drill press, band saw and ironworker are valued.
Attitude is what will set the successful candidate apart. We are looking for a positive team player who can take direction and who will request clarification whenever needed. Reliability, a focus on safety and attention to detail are pivotal.
Work will be performed in our shop in Laurel, MT. Travel is not required for this position but may be available if the employee would like. This can be discussed during the interview process. Our projects are typically concentrated within a 3-4 hoursâ drive from Billings, MT. Overnight stays are regularly part of work travel.
This is a full-time position working (4) ten hour shifts Tuesday through Friday. Overtime, including both longer days or weeks, may be required as our project schedule dictates.
Pay is dependent upon experience. Drug testing, background check and a valid driverâs license are required for employment.
