Montana Ironworks is a metal fabrication company looking for an experienced finish carpenter to add to our team.
The ideal candidate must be able to read plans, perform accurate measurements, cuts and lay out pieces for assembly. As wood is not the primary focus of what we do the ideal candidate should possess a willingness to step out of the carpentry realm to learn metal fabrication. Experience with metal fabrication is preferred but by no means required. Reliability, safety, attention to detail and the ability to take direction are more important to us than fabrication experience.
Work will be performed both in our shop in Laurel, MT as well as onsite in various locations as required for our projects. Our projects are typically concentrated within a 3-4 hoursâ drive from Billings, MT. Travel, including overnight stays, will be a regular part of this job.
This is a full-time position working (4) ten hour shifts Tuesday through Friday. Overtime, including both longer days or weeks, may be required as our project schedule dictates.
Pay is dependent upon experience. Drug testing, background check and a valid driverâs license are required for employment.
