Tire Technician
Who are we?
Whalen Tire is a reputable, local tire company that offers tire and mechanical service on passenger vehicles, light and medium duty trucks, OTR trucks, farm implements and equipment, and industrial/ construction applications.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking dependable, motivated, and hardworking Tire Technicians to join our growing team in Billings, Montana. This position is constantly changing and every day is different than the day before.
Day in the life:
Installing new tires and/or wheels
Performing maintenance on tires, including rotations, balancing, patching and repairs
Uses tire shop equipment and machines in a safe manner; maintains shop and work area in a neat and organized condition in support of staff and customer safety.
Identified proper size and make of tire, removed from inventory, and installed on customer vehicle. Ensure proper inflation and balancing.

Ability to problem solve and work in a team environment
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and ability to bend, twist, kneel, crouch/crawl, balance, and push/pull daily
Ability to use hand tools and lifts safely
Ability to operate motor vehicles in a safe manner
Drivers license, required
Previous mechanical experience a plus
Tire experience preferred but not required
