Skill Requirements and Duties Include:
Receive calls from customers and record significant information pertaining to trips.
Receive charter confirmations and dispatch drivers accordingly within hours of service regulations.
Phone drivers and customers to verify scheduling and information.
Be familiar with using computer, 2-way radio and phone etiquette to communicate with drivers.
Monitor buses on charter and transit routing using advanced E-log system.
Provide and assist drivers with information about routing delays and regulatory requirements.
Create assistance paperwork, such as: maps and itineraries.
Maintain records of data in several systems.
Assist and mentor drivers with his/her hours of service, routing and group expectations.
Assist and mentor sales department staff with driver hours of service, routing and group expectations.
Keep up to date with sales and dispatches.
Be prepared to and execute emergency action plans as necessary.
