Montana Robe Company (www.montanarobes.com) is looking for an experienced seamstress to facilitate our manufacturing pipeline. Target stating date is September 1st, 2019 with applicant screening to begin August 1st.
Position Duties Include: Sewing with Industrial sewing machines, bulk cutting, tailoring garments, quality control/quality assurance, managing inventory, and managing shipping. Duties may also include input into designing new products, process improvement, production scheduling. Employee may also be required to occasionally facilitate marketing and sales.
Required education, skills, and certifications: sewing experience, 4 year college degree or 4 years employment experience in a related position. A candidate will have basic office software and computer experience. Physical requirements of the position include the ability to sit or stand continuously for 30 minutes completing a task and the ability to move 50lbs unassisted.
An ideal candidate is a self-starter with sewing experience, a B.S. or B.A. level of education in business, operations management, textile design, or related field with at least 2+ years of industrial sewing experience.
