Are you a pet-oriented kind of person? Here is the opportunity to be a part of the process of manufacturing pet supplies. A local manufacturing company with an incredible culture is looking for help in production as well as shipping. Pay starts out at $14.50 per hour!
Day and Night shifts available and multiple positions are open!
This position is full time, long term. We are now hiring Production Team members who enjoy making well-loved pet products. Production Employees are an integral part of a team that are responsible for assembling an entire product or component, packaging and/or picking and shipping the product. Successful Production Team Employees can perform all tasks efficiently, while rotating through many of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sewing and production of products
Packaging and shipping of products
Monitoring own work to ensure high standards of quality
Flexibility with the production needs; willing to cross-train in other departments as needed
Mastery of Five S’s of Workplace Organization; Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain
Following all safety instructions according to policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Able to sit, walk, and/or stand continuously for up to 8 hours
Able to frequently pinch and grasp materials using up to 20 lbs of force
Able to bend, stoop, stretch, reach, push, pull, and balance materials during handling, assembly, and filling/shipping of customer orders
Able to use step ladders
