A career at Dynojet Research means being part of something unique and being proud of it! The Inventory Control/Buyer I would be responsible for inventory management and the procurement of components and supplies to support manufacturing. At Dynojet we work hard and play even harder!
Duties include:
Monitor, maintain, and manage current inventory levels
Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations
Coordinate all inventory transfers among locations and vendors
Perform daily cycle count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count
Unpack and deliver goods; re-stock items as necessary; label shelves
Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry
Pick up, deliver, load and unload items as required
Perform warehousing functions using forklift and other material handling equipment
Relocate material within various areas for more efficient use of space
Improve and implement efficient inventory procedures
Assisting in the sourcing of new raw materials and vendors
Continue partnerships with existing vendors and negotiate best pricing
Prepare daily and weekly purchase orders based on MRP or business demand
Maintain inventory min/max levels in alignment with order quantities
Follow-up and expedite orders
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail
Proactive can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Must be able to work with minimal supervision, but in a team environment
Knowledge of Word and Excel
Prior experience in inventory/purchasing preferred
