Sales Associate (career)
Job description: Sales of major home appliances. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Weekend and evening hours are required. Sales Associates are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting work environment in addition to selling.
Compensation: Earn up to $75,000+ annually including bonus. Typical first year income for inexperienced salespeople $45-$50k; experienced sales associates can exceed $100k in total compensation.

Work hours: Retail hours including evenings and weekends
Job responsibilities include:
Assist customers and complete sales orders.
Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
Answer phones and respond to website inquiries
Some light lifting and cleaning
Remain responsible for paperwork and payments handled/collected
Competencies:
Professional appearance
Computer literate
Ability to read, write and understand English
Communicate concisely and effectively
Excellent organizational skills
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must agree to follow procedures and abide by policies set forth by Fred's
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Must have a desire to provide world class customer service
