Valley of the Flowers Landscaping, Inc. is a full-service landscaping firm that believes in environmental enhancement through professional landscape horticulture. We specialize in drought tolerant landscaping, native design and reclamation, wildflower fields, stonework, and perennial gardens. VOTF offers profit sharing to employees beginning their second year and ski passes to all employees who work over 1000/hrs in a season. All positions will begin seasonally/hourly but there is opportunity for 401K, health insurance, and a salaried position with our small company. Start date approximately ASAP
Landscape Maintenance: Responsibilities and duties include weed identification and control, pruning, spreading compost and mulch, installing/maintaining perennials and small shrubs and trees, maintaining irrigation systems, and mowing and weed-whacking small lawn areas. This person will be responsible for driving a company vehicle to job sites and must be confident, organized, have a positive attitude, be willing to work in all weather conditions, and able to lift at least 50 lbs. Self-motivation, plant identification, attention to detail, a clean driving record, and basic mechanical skills are desired but not a must.
