Montana Family Dentistry is actively seeking an experienced dental assistant to add to our team.
Duties include:
Assisting doctor during dental procedures (4 handed instrument exchange experience a plus)
Setting up/breaking down treatment rooms, sanitizing
Sterilizing instruments
Greeting and seating patients
Entering treatment details into computer
Dismissing patients, discussing post-op instructions or other concerns
Some clerical duties as assigned
Calling patients to follow up or confirm appointments
Answering busy phone lines as assigned
Skills required:
Excellent work ethic, attention to detail and people skills
Good listening ability
Pleasant demeanor on the phone and in person
Ability to explain procedures or help calm and reassure patients who are fearful
Organized, efficient and punctual
Must be able to work when asked M-Th; we see patients from 8AM to 5PM
Desire to work and have fun, professionalism, kindness towards others
