Son Heaven Assisted Living is seeking a fun loving, caring, motivated person to join our team. One year experience working with the elderly is required. Please apply in person.
Hours: 25-30 hours per week, will vary. Some nights and weekends occasionally.
Job Duties:
⢠Arrange activities which meet the needs and interests of the residents and their individual skill levels.
⢠Plan and implement scheduled crafts and games.
⢠Coordinate volunteer groups to provide in-house activities.
⢠Assist with transportation to activities scheduled outside the facility
⢠Set up season decorations and bulletin boards.
⢠Implement and set up family gatherings such as Christmas parties, family BBQâs, etc.
⢠Maintain a monthly activities calendar (written and posted for staff and residents) that will be kept on file for a year.

Educational Requirement: High School diploma (or equivalent) required. Some experience working with senior citizens preferred. Experience in lieu of educational requirement will be considered.
Summary: This position is responsible for providing regularly scheduled social and recreational activities that promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of each resident. Above all the aim is to provide a holistic approach that will improve each residentâs quality of life while at Caslen.
