We are hiring a hands on service manager to lead our team of 2 other mechanics. This position is in charge of scheduling, customer service, special parts ordering, quality control, and job estimating. We do trailer repairs ranging from brake swaps, axle repairs, welding, lots of electrical 12v, fabrication, and truck bed swaps. Just to name a few. This job requires problem solving, hands on labor, working with various tools, and fabrication. A very high mechanical aptitude and expertise is required.
You will also be tasked with tracking and improving Service recovery rate. The amount of billable hours we have available, vs the amount we are actually billing. So you must be able to identify and eliminate inefficiencies and down time for your techs.
