We are looking for housekeepers able to attend to our facilities with integrity, efficiency, and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation. The right person is punctual, reliable, thorough but fast, and eager to learn. We hold our cleaners to the highest standard as you serve an extremely important function in the satisfaction of our guests. This is a seasonal summer job that you can come back to season after season if you are a good fit! This would be perfect for teachers and college students on summer break wanting to make extra money!
Requirements
-Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper preferred but not mandatory as training will be provided.
-Punctual and professional
-Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
-Ability to work with a team as needed
-Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
-Prioritization and time management skills
-Pays attention to detail when cleaning
-Working quickly without compromising quality
-Able to follow verbal directions
-Able to bend, stoop, lift up to 35lb, and work on your feet
-Able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
-Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing.
-Change linens after every guest and gather all used linens and towels for laundering
-Launder used linens and towels as required
-Scrub sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets
-Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors and counters
-Clean walls of any smudges stains as needed
-Keep all cupboards/storage areas clean and organized
-Clean kitchen and appliances and inspect all utensils and drawers to make sure they are clean and organized
-Ability to make all types of beds in a neat and attractive manor according to standards
-Fold all linens according to standard and place in a neat and pleasing manor
-Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
-Check stocking levels of consumables and replace when appropriate
-Removal of all trash from every receptacle
-Report guest caused damage, deficits, or disturbances
