Woodland Montessori School is growing again! Our Mission is to foster the natural spirit if inquiry and thrill of discovery within each child by upholding the Montessori philosophy. Come touch the future! We are seeking a Teacher's Assistant to start immediately.
All teacher assistants are expected to model respectful and positive behavior, ensure safety, oversee activities of the children according to the specifications of the teacher, conscientiously supervise children during various times of day, and maintain an orderly and clean classroom.
Experience working with children is required. The successful candidate is someone who feels joy in working with children, has a positive attitude, is patient, flexible, organized, responsible, and is looking for a community of professional colleagues engaged in collaboration, personal development and mutual support.
Qualifications:
A positive attitude.
A willingness to help each child reach his/her potential!
AA degree in Early Childhood or Education is preferred, but not required.
Experience working with groups of young children.
Complete all state regulations for a Montana Child Care Provider.
You will need to pass extensive background check.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop and care for children.
Walking and standing for extended periods of time.
